I went to the Motorhead concert last night at Roseland Ballroom in NYC. The concert started off with none other than "The Game" being blared over the PA system (not played live) and Triple-H hitting the stage. Triple-H introduced Motorhead and then stood on the left side of the stage, in clear view of the crowd, for the entire 90 minute show. Wife Stephanie joined him and was wearing way too short a skirt for a mother of two and legitimately head-banging, long hair flapping in the air, for the entire concert. At one point she got so carried away that she ran out on stage and high fived drummer Mikkey Dee. For their third song, Lemmy said, "I'd like to dedicate this next song from Motorizer to Triple-H and his lovely wife." The song, of course, was "Rock Out", the theme song of Unforgiven. He also dedicated his last encore to Triple-H. After the show was over, Triple-H came out and took the final bow with the band. Triple-H and Stephanie were honestly all over this show and seemed to be having a great time. Needless to say, the band sounded awesome and I would highly recommend anyone checking out Motorhead when they tour your area. |
